A

Interstitial fluid, which surrounds cells, is produced from capillary filtration as fluid leaks from blood capillaries into tissue spaces. While most of this fluid is reabsorbed by venous capillaries, approximately 10–15% remains in the tissue and is collected by lymphatic capillaries, transforming it into lymph along with large proteins and cellular debris.
