Q

How does boiling affect fats in food?

From 5 years of verified research · Vassili Sandqvist
A

Boiling does not significantly interact with fats since water and fat do not mix. As a result, any fat present in boiled food remains chemically intact, and no oxidation products form due to the lack of exposure to oxygen and high dry-heat temperatures.
