Q

What is the difference between an anchor and an introject in psychology?

A

An anchor is the first piece of information that enters our mind and becomes associated with various connections, leading us to believe that it is the most truthful. An introject, on the other hand, relates to societal norms and moral directives, often framed as 'should' statements, such as 'a real man should...' or 'a woman should...'. These reflect internalized societal expectations rather than personal beliefs.

This is one answer. The complete system — the psychology, the biology, and the method — is in the book.
