A

Type I fibers, or slow-twitch fibers, contract more slowly, have lower peak force, and are more fatigue-resistant, primarily relying on aerobic metabolism. In contrast, Type II fibers are fast-twitch, generating higher peak forces quickly but fatigue more rapidly, relying on anaerobic metabolism.

This is one answer. The complete system — the psychology, the biology, and the method — is in the book.
