What are the key differences between maximizers and satisficers?

A

Maximizers seek the best possible option by evaluating all possibilities and only committing when they are fully satisfied, while satisficers set a threshold of acceptability and choose the first option that meets it. Although maximizers may make objectively better decisions, they report lower satisfaction and experience choice paralysis more frequently.
