For individuals with lactose intolerance, whey isolate is the best option as it has significantly reduced lactose content. Whey hydrolysate is another choice, being fully lactose-free and pre-digested for faster absorption. Whey concentrate, however, retains lactose and is not suitable for those with lactose intolerance.
