A

Cottage cheese has an excellent protein-to-calorie ratio, with about 11–14g (0.5 oz) of protein per 100g (3.5 oz) and only around 100 calories. Its modest fat content includes beneficial fatty acids like conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), and its leucine content is sufficient to stimulate muscle protein synthesis when consumed in adequate amounts.
