Q

How does fascia impact muscle growth during training?

From 5 years of verified research · Vassili Sandqvist
A

Fascia encases muscles and plays a crucial role in limiting the volume that muscle tissue can occupy. When muscles swell during training, the fascia constrains them, and as muscles grow, the fascia must adapt. Stretching applies mechanical load to the fascia, promoting its expansion and thereby reducing this constraint on muscle growth.

This is one answer. The complete system — the psychology, the biology, and the method — is in the book.
