A

Dietary ketosis is a normal, reversible physiological state resulting from low carbohydrate intake, while diabetic ketoacidosis is a pathological condition associated with Type 1 diabetes. The latter occurs when insulin deficiency leads to uncontrolled ketone production, which can be dangerous, unlike the controlled state of ketosis from a ketogenic diet.

This is one answer. The complete system — the psychology, the biology, and the method — is in the book.
